Why Angle of Japanese Teapot Spout and Handle Is Not 90°？ Is This a Problem?

The position of the spout of a Japan Tokoname Teapot (and most of other Japanese teapots) is mounted not perpendicular (90°) to the handle.

It is mounted a little closer to handle side traditionally. It is due to smooth and comfortable poring of tea into cups.
