[SEISHO KATO Sencha Porcelain Blue & White HOUHIN] (Customer Message) I’ve tried the Hohin from Seisho Kato with a Gyokuro from Asahina (Saemidori Cultivar) as well as with a Kukicha from Asamiya (Koshûn Cultivar). [Tsuzuki Seiho Inka Sakura Back Handle Kyusu Teapot] (Customer Message) It is very nice, elegant and practical teapot for various kind of tea. I like it and I like its green grey color. I brewed organic Tai Mu Shan Bai Mu Dan 2011 from Mt. Taimu at the time I made the pictures. [JINSHU Flat Gradation Teapot] (Customer Message)What a perfectly made kyusu this is. In my opinion a kyusu made by Jinshu (Seiji Ito) is a -must have- for everyone who loves ‘Nihoncha’, japanese green tea. The way the lid fits perfectly, hand drawn signature on the bottom and the gradient on the lid and pot makes this kyusu truely a masterpiece. Once I've seasoned it with a little tea, I look forward to brewing myself a pot. My method is to wash it out, then to brew some strong earthy tea in it, let it soak for about an hour, then prepare my first drinking brew. I hope that is a good method. [Shinohara Takashi Suzu-yaki Wood-fired Pitcher] (Customer Message)  I really love the feelings of tranquility and zen this pitcher evokes.  The overall color of the ware is really beautiful, especially the light green shade on the pitcher’s lip, which is reminiscent of moss growing on a stone.  The shape is also really soothing and pleasant to look at, and it definitely uses the wabi-sabi concept to amazing effect. My one criticism would be that the pitcher gets very hot to the touch, but it still otherwise functions very well despite that. Shinohara Takashi Page

Well-made and every aspect of it is well thought of and well crafted... but that is only to be expected from Junzo's work. I liked the performance of this teapot especially on houjicha and wakoucha (Japanese black tea). The seller shipped the pot from Japan really fast (few days time). It was really impressive.
