This is charming cups of a size not often seen Japan. They're like café au lait bowls, yet smaller matcha bowls. They're just the right size to hold with both hands and enjoy a cup of tea. Inside the cup, there's a sparkling brilliance reminiscent of cracked ice.
The Yamada families have been producing teapots in 5 generations.
Sou Yamada is a grandson of Jozan Yamada the 3rd, who was recognized by the Japanese government as Important Intangible Cultural Property (Living National Treasure) .
