The teapot was made around 40-50 years ago. Simple and unique shape with foot on the body, fire line (Hidasuki) on white clay is attractive. Handle, lid knob, body shape, made with simple lines, impression of clay also simple and calm. 

A teapot with this kind of elevated foot is quite rare among the historical Tokoname teapots, making it a valuable find. It is a unique piece that embodies both the era and craftsmanship. The thick handle is also characteristic of this era.
