Banko tecup set. Hand carve & paint flowers. This cups are from some decades ago.
The iron-like color of Banko-yaki is covered with white brushstrokes of paint in a bold, natural randomness. There is also a sense of wabi-sabi, a sense of nostalgia. With flowers painted with free lines feel rustic beauty.
The inner bottom of the teacup is painted with swirls in white. This is a often seen in sencha cup in Japan to see and enjoy the color of tea.
This cups reminds good old time of Japan.
