This teapot was made approx. 35-45 years ago.

The entire piece features rich, delicate shades of brown, naturally created by the fire of the kiln and enhanced by a gentle sheen that adds depth.

The engraved plant motifs harmonize beautifully with the smooth body, offering a pleasing contrast while embracing the beauty of silence and space. Together, these elements convey a sense of refined elegance and timeless warmth.

Crafted by Soukou renowned for his exceptional wheel-throwing skills and the creation of thin, graceful forms, this teapot embodies both beauty and dignity in its elegant silhouette.

Soukou was called "Master of Rokuro"
(Master of potter's wheel)
