Takatori Hassun Kiln 14th Generation's  (Hachinojo-funin) Works.

With its simple form and thick glaze, this cup showcases beautiful shades of light and dark brown. It feels comfortable and natural in the hand. Fine horizontal throwing marks can be seen in places beneath the glaze, adding quiet depth and character to the piece.

Most of the clay is from Koishiwara and Nanakuma in Fukuoka prefecture (whereHassen kiln is located)

Takatori Hassen Kiln started in 17th century, produces Japanese tea ceremony ware as main works.
