The egrets are in nature with dignity and grace.

White clay brushed on surface of the inside.
It is beautiful as if sleet or scene in winter in the wild nature.


To have effect of such a beautiful natural pattern, brushing(painting) is done before body is dried.


Their original glaze, which is made of wood ash, straw ash, feldspar make the texture very smooth, and gives good mouth feel.

Utsutsugaw-yaki in Nagasaki, Kyusu in Japan has long history and Yokoishi family succeeded the art and technique for generations and keep the history.
