Beautiful wood fired blue cup. You can use small yuzamashi /pitcher when brewing Gyokuro or Sencha.

Wood ash settles on the teacup during the firing. Dark soft gray ash flowing on blue body makes nature scene.

Shape is very unique and rim of the cup is thin and delicate. 

How you drink tea in the cup is up to you. 

Joyful in your hand, must be unique feel on your lip.

The Yamada families have been producing teapots in 5 generations.

Sou Yamada is a grandson of Jozan Yamada the 3rd, who was recognized by the Japanese government as Important Intangible Cultural Property (Living National Treasure) .
