Murata Yoshiki Shiboridashi Teapot #74 益規絞出
MURATA YOSHIKI, Shiboridashi Teapot
The surface showcases an artfully hammered pattern that gently reflects light, creating a soft and elegant aesthetic. Crafted from red clay of Tokoname, this teapot undergoes a smoking process during its second firing to make it black.
Designed in a larger size, this Shiboridashi allows for a comfortable two-handed grip, offering a versatile and user-friendly experience.
For brewing, this teapot is particularly well-suited for Gyokuro Green Tea and delicate high-grade tea leaves. Given the requirements of Gyokuro Green Tea, which necessitates low-temperature water ranging from 40-50℃, this teapot ensures a safe and enjoyable handling experience by preventing any risk of burns due to its avoidance of high-temperature water.
