Thanks for the lovely teapot. It looks very nice indeed. I appreciate the excellent workmanship. It's also my only left-handed teapot.

Once I've seasoned it with a little tea, I look forward to brewing myself a pot.

My method is to wash it out, then to brew some strong earthy tea in it, let it soak for about an hour, then prepare my first drinking brew. I hope that is a good method. My grandfather taught me this.
