Takatori Hassen XIII (Takatori Sousen) Yohen Kiln Change Cup Takatori-Yaki HS16

This cup has a kakewake glaze (2 glazes), the glaze made complex and attractive changes due to the heat and flame in the kiln during firing. You can imagine a fierce flame created by high heat, and a sense of reverence for nature arises. There are various charms, you never get tired of watching it, you will find new feeling every time you see it.

The Takatori Hassen Kiln has preserved the tradition of Takatori ware from the early 17th century to the present.

The clay is a unique blend of Hassen XIII.

Most of the clay is from Koishiwara and Nanakuma in Fukuoka prefecture (where Hassen kiln is located)

Takatori Hassen Kiln produces Japanese tea ceremony ware as main works.
