Suzu clay contains rich iron. The color change to black in firing in kiln (in reduction firing)
Artist Shinohara Takashi go to mountain in Suzu city and dig clay by himself.
Plenty of natural glaze are seen inside, makes soft warm colors and dark shining greenish black in the center. Outer surface has soft snowy greenish natural glazing with very beautiful flowing blue and dark green drops.
Opening of the cup also has blue and grey natural glaze. Very artistic.
